dinghy sailing instructor
Salary expectations: £7 to £10 per hour I am 24 years old. After initially training and working as an electrician for two years after leaving 6th form in 2003 I took time out to travel visiting the United States, South America and parts of Europe. During this time I worked in restaurants and bars, electrical/general labouring and various short contract jobs. This time of self exploration has helped me grow in character and provided me with valuable life experience.
During the summer seasons of 2008/2009 I have worked with Thompson Holidays in various sites on the West Coast and Mediterranean areas of France. This included supervisory experience for maintenance and changeovers of caravans as well as time spent assisting with children’s holiday clubs.
Whilst working in France I saw that the role of water sports instructor was infinitely more desireable than campsite maintenance and decided to train as an instructor.
I was introduced to dinghy sailing by my father when I was a child sailing in our Skipper, Mirror, Enterprise and Wayfarer dinghy’s, so have considerable sailing experience.
I have recently completed RYA courses at Rockley Point Sailing Centre fully qualifying me as a dinghy instructor sailing Wayfarer, Laser 2000, RS 400s & Osprey dinghies and single handers including Lasers and Picos.
I am passionate about sailing and good with people. I am keen to share my knowledge and experience with others by teaching them how to sail, or to improve their techniques and existing abilities.

Salary expectations: 25 K Hi there,
I spent almost all my life in swimming pools, as professional water polo player (15 years) and as swimming instructor.
Swimming pool are my world, I know them by heart, I know the difficulties to manage a big group of pupils but also the pleasure to see them in the end of the course being able to develop properly their aquatic skills.
This is a magic job, hard and difficult, but also and that\\\'s why i love it, challenging and emotional.
I have worked as a swimming instructor for almost 6 years in different swimming pools.
I taught to entry levels till advanced swimmers which give me the knowledge and experience to be able to manage any swimming groups. I have also taught one to one lessons to a disable kid which in the end of the course learnt the basic movements in the water and he increased his self confident in the water.
If you are looking for a dynamic and positive swimming instructor, full of energy, then don\\\'t look further.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks in advance for your time.
Best regards,
Marco

Swimming Teacher/Coach
Salary expectations: £18 As part of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award I assisted with swimming teaching on a voluntary basis from the age of 14 at Teddington Swimming Club. At this time, I was still a member of and a regular swimmer at the Club. Since gaining my NPLQ and Teaching Qualifications I have worked at various Clubs and Swimming Pools. To this position, I would bring a confident and personal style of teaching which is full of passion for the encouragement and development of confidence through swimming. I have a very practical approach and prefer to teach in the water with the pupils, whenever possible - so that the pupils have something to relate to through demonstration. Throughout my ten years experience at many different locations I have worked with wide range of people and abilities from 6 months to the over 60‘s. I am flexible in my ability to teach both group and individual lessons to a very high standard and am confident in doing so. My group teaching has included running the Rookie lifeguard program at my last employment. I am always looking to improve my teaching and develop new skills. I believe every lesson I teach helps to develop my own teaching skills as well as to further the learning of others. There is no such thing as a child who cannot be taught to swim. In addition to my swimming teaching experience I hold a level 2 swimming instructor qualification and I am registered with Swim Ireland the national swimming association and governing body in Ireland. I am also a certified pool and beach lifeguard. swimming instructor
Salary expectations: 18,000 per anum To whom this may concern
I have been teaching swimming for four years, within these four years I have gained knowledge about teaching and coaching swimming. I used to swim for my local swimming club and have since decided to teach the sport I enjoy. I have taught swimming to a variety of abilities and have taught in difficult environments where there are too many people in one group or there are public activities in progress. I have also had the responsibility for organising swimming lessons on the leisure centre programme.
The reason I am applying for this post is because I feel I have gained a lot experience from the community I have been working in, and feel that I have fully experienced the teaching within this community and could offer my skills to a different employer. I know that my overall experience and teaching skills would improve and benefit me, as I seek new challenges.
The reason you should consider me as an applicant is because of my understanding of the importance of organised session planning, but being able to adapt the plan depending on the ability of the participant(s). I have taught baby with adult classes, young children and adults as non swimmers up to a club standard of swimming. I have taught groups of adults and children as large as twelve and teams of swimmers as large twenty. On the other end of the scale I have taken one to one lessons of different standards. I am a punctual, healthy and fit individual who takes pride in my work.
Yours Sincerely
Bryn Roberts
